Open throughout the College day and during most College holidays, CNC Library is located in the Main Building between St. Bede’s and St. Wilfrid’s. 

The Library offers a welcoming, student-friendly environment, with quiet areas to study. Our study areas include the main library space, balcony with 28 PCs and the upstairs quiet study room (B121). In addition, we provide a wide range of online resources and reading materials, as well as our fiction, well-being, graphic novels, careers, and academic book collections.

Library computers are equipped with Adobe and Read&Write software. Printing, copying, and scanning services are available. The library features a small shop where students can purchase stationery items and select course textbooks. Bursary students may be eligible to receive books and stationery from the shop at no cost.

The CNC Library page hosts all the Library resources and collections. Here you can search our catalogue, and reserve or renew your books. You will also find reading lists and tailored resources for each subject, making it simple to access resources specific to your course. New to the library is our Fiction Addiction, read 6 books for fun and receive a voucher for a drink at our on-site Starbucks or Costa. This scheme promotes reading for wellbeing, improves literacy, and encourages time away from screens.

Library workshops for study skills may be booked where appropriate for your course and Stacey will happily check your academic writing and references. The Library team are happy to help with any enquiries you may have.
