The Student Services Office is located in the Student Advice Hub on the ground floor of the St Francis Building.

We aim to provide comprehensive support to all our students, assisting everyone who may need help to overcome obstacles enabling them to complete their studies. Our friendly and professional staff can provide advice and guidance on a number of different issues including attendance, travel enquiries, financial support, free meals, welfare, and health & wellbeing services.
If you are absent from College or are going to be late, you or your parent/guardian can login to Cedar and report the absence directly.
If you have to sign out during the College day come to the Student Advice Hub or Main Reception before you go. You are expected to attend ALL lessons on your timetable and any extra support sessions that have been arranged for you. You are also expected to be on time. Teachers and tutors will record all absence and lateness, unexplained absence or persistent lateness will be followed up by your Achievement Tutor and if necessary by Senior Tutors and Senior Managers. Your attendance and punctuality will be included on your progress checks and may be used on references. You can check your attendance and marks through Cedar.
If a confirmation certificate is required to confirm enrolment at Cardinal Newman College, please complete the request below.
Certificates are required when applying for Universal Credit, Council tax etc. Once you have submitted your request, we will respond to you within 5 working days using the email address you provide.
