You will study a variety of topics covering a range of Human Biology – from Microbiology and infectious diseases, to the main aspects of the human body, such as the circulatory system, cells, tissues and biological molecules.
After completing a BTEC in Human Biology there are lots of options available to you. Depending on which other courses you have chosen, this qualification could lead onto a pathway in health science sectors, such as Occupational Therapy, Biomedical Science or Nursing.
At least five grade 4s at GCSE, including at least a grade 4 in GCSE Science and a grade 4 in GCSE Maths.
BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Applied Human Biology.
Pearson. The assessment will consist of two externally assessed units (exams) and two internally assessed units.
