What is Maths A-Level?

Throughout the A-Level Maths programme, you’ll explore a range of topics that build on your existing mathematical knowledge while introducing more advanced concepts.

The course covers fundamental areas such as algebra, trigonometry, and geometry, as well as more complex topics like differentiation, integration, and vectors.

You’ll also study sequences and series, exponentials and logarithms, and numerical methods, all of which are essential for solving a variety of mathematical problems.

What is the Exam Board for A-Level Maths?

The A-Level Maths course is assessed by the Edexcel exam board. They are a leading provider of academic qualifications.

This ensures that the A-Level Maths qualification is both challenging and highly regarded, making it a strong foundation for further study or a wide range of career paths. 

What are the Entry Requirements for A-Level Maths?

To enrol in the Maths A-Level programme, you’ll need at least five GCSEs at grade 5 or above, including a grade 6 in Maths.

If you’re interested in a more diverse academic route, we have a Mixed Programme available. This allows you to combine A-Levels with BTEC qualifications.

Even if you aren’t on track to achieve all five grade 5s, there may still be an opportunity to pursue this flexible pathway.
