Health and Social Care

The Foundation Degree (FdA) in Health and Social Care is validated by University of Central Lancashire. It is a work based degree which means that all learning, teaching and assessment relates to student’s own work place experiences. In year 1 students will study at level 4 and in year 2 and level 5, they then graduate as this is a stand-alone qualification and have 5 years to ‘top up’ their FdA to a full Ba (Hons) or BSc (Hons) qualification. Our dedicated HE teachers, the college’s careers department and colleagues from UCLAN will support students with their progression decisions.
