![]() ![]() You'll be able to visit us on our Open Evenings so that you can see for yourself what we can offer your son or daughter. At these evenings you will be able to see our facilities, speak with subject staff, have the opportunity to speak with the Principal, and hear what our current students have to say about their experiences. We also attend parents' evenings at most high schools in the area, where you can also speak with College staff. We will send details to your home about any financial support that your son or daughter may be eligible for, once we have received their application. If your daughter or son has a learning difficulty or disability you will be able to discuss their individual needs with College staff in order to ensure that we can best meet their individual needs. You will be more than welcome to come with your daughter or son when they enrol, so that you can be certain that you are happy with their choice of courses. During their time with us we will keep you informed about their progress, and give you opportunities to come into College and meet subject staff as well as their personal tutor. Who to Contact for HelpWhilst your son or daughter is at high school, you can contact our admissions team on 01772 460181or admissions@cardinalnewman.ac.uk If they don't have the answer to your question, they will be able to find out the answer for you. Once your daughter or son has enrolled, you will receive details about the various College support services, but the usual first point of contact is the personal tutor, available through the main switchboard on 01772 460181. Through the same number you can also contact Student Services for help with financial support (including travel), Learning Support (if your son or daughter is eligible for extra help with their studies), or the Assistant Principal of Pastoral Services (if you have any serious concerns). |
